Emily Raine, Manager of the Massachusetts Expanded Learning Time (ELT) InitiativeEmily Raine is the Manager of the Massachusetts Expanded Learning Time (ELT) Initiative at Massachusetts 2020. In this capacity, she manages the network of ELT schools; coordinates the work of our MA technical assistance team; supports partnerships between ELT schools and community partners and between Mass 2020 and state agencies; and supports our development efforts. Prior to joining Mass 2020, Emily worked in out-of-school time education in Boston and Cambridge with the Agassiz Neighborhood Council, the Agenda for Children, and Citizen Schools. At Citizen Schools, Emily helped launch one of their first ELT campuses and served in two externships with other educational institutions and non-profits, with the Boston Public Library and with Mass 2020. This led to her coming on board full-time in 2007, initially as Partnerships Manager and now as Manager of the MA ELT Initiative. Emily graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Arts and Ideas, and holds an M.Ed. from Lesley University. She lives in Cambridge, MA. |
